INTRODUCTION The site Freedom in the World ranks the countries according to their political freedoms and their civil rights. Particular situations such as civil wars or guerrillas can lower a grade whenever they affect directly the freedom in that country. About the 1-7 type of classification : Well, when I was young and I was learning politics and human rights, I used to consult the respectable site Freedomhouse, so I got used to that type of classification which I have maintained in my site.
TYPE OF CLASSIFICATION : 1- is the most free 7- is the least free.
TREND: The sign + indicates a general improvement in the freedoms, the sign - indicates a worsening.
